Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was a former supermodel is a film director. Alongside her stunning elegance, her continued successes in the film industry proves her skills as an actor. Modeling began during the 1970s. In the next few years, she was one the top models. In the early 1990s, she began studying theatre and acting. In the following years, in Los Angeles and California she made her first stage appearances. In 1987, Russo portrayed Eden Kendell in the ABC drama Sable. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her first movie Major League. Critics, initially skeptical by her acting skills but eventually redeemed themselves when they saw her constant performance. They were particularly impressed by her performance in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she held herself against the likes as Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. According to her, she was never a fan in acting. In 2005 she was forced to take a break for a while. The reason she returned was her role in Thor. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose participated in many sports as a child, including basketball and Kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships took her on her when she was 18 years old and she went on to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White was impressed and brought Rose into the strawweight division of the UFC at 22, at the end of December in 2014. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, but she always comes out victorious. In April, 2015 Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout in less than three minutes in Round One - becoming not only champion but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA because this was the first time ever that a women competed for a championship title with a major promoter worldwide . Namajunas continued to win several other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, winning the Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
